Walking Dead love @ 08:22 pm

Current Mood: thoughtful thoughtful

I'm missing my shows! Evil hiatus! So in honor of Walking Dead, I share an album of collected art/pics I've gathered for all my fellow dead heads. For those that have watched up until the latest episode, what are your thoughts on the show thus far, what do you want to see happen when the show comes back in Feb?

WARNING for spoilers in the comments! :P

Beautiful. I can't comment on the show as I have only seen bits of it here and there, but the art...amazing. :-)

I am a big fan of good art even if I personally have seemingly been on hiatus creatively :)

LOL I have been as well, but due to work and going away. I need to get my creative juices going but I have been so tired lately. Things will ease up after the new year hopefully. :-)

I hate the hiatus but some of the show I watch aren't coming back until March so I guess February isn't as bad. I don't think Judith is dead. There was a lot of blood but as other people pointed out online, the straps were unbuckled, not ripped apart and there were no "debris" like ripped clothing. Also, even though she died in the comics, most TV shows won't go so far as killing a baby, even "offscreen."

I'm glad the Governor is finally dead. It was a really sad mid-season finale with Herschel's death and everyone being scattered and lost. The people with the Governor were morons. They wanted to take the prison but all they succeeded in doing was blowing giant holes in it and tearing down the fence. They could have shared it but they were greedy and stupid. Although Rick's attempt to talk with them wasn't very good either.

I'm excited for the next half of the season. Hopefully, we'll find out what happened with Carol and find out who survived and who didn't once everyone joins up again at the meeting place. The show always keeps me guessing because I never know who's going to die next.

I really hope Judith is still alive, but the blood in the carrier is kind of damning... where else would it have come from? The show has diverged from the comics, but the fact Judith died in them doesn't bode well for her return... especially story wise. They got rid of all the people that 'slowed the party down' so to speak, and that may have been more the reason to cut both characters from the scene for plot sake... only Feb will tell...

The governor... I REALLY wanted to see him make a 180 after meeting and helping that family since it seemed he really had reached that breaking point of change in episode 7, but I'm a sucker for villain redemption... even if he was pretty dang dastardly. LOL! ;)

Seeing Hershel die was horrible!:( It would have been nice to see the two groups come into the prison and the tension that would ensue from it, but I gather it was about time they needed to get out of the prison to keep the story moving.

I would like to see what happened to Carol. I understand why Rick didn't want her there when Tyreese came back, but he owed it to Daryl to have let him see her before he banished her from the prison.

I am excited to see what will come when the show comes back! It does keep you guessing, and zombie apocalypse world is such a fun back drop for a drama :P

Now that everyone's separated, it'll be interesting to see the smaller groups survive. Carl will continue to be more of a badass working with Rick, Daryl and Beth could be fun, and Tyrese with the kids...could be even more fun!

What do you think about Judith? I know in the comic she didn't make it, but do you think that will be the case in the show? I'm still shocked that those girls just left the baby there like that :( I am looking forward to seeing the groups outside of the prison, although after the episode "live Bait" I wanted to see the Governor redeemed :P Of course there was no going back after the two episodes that followed. I'm wondering if Carol will come back in to the series now as well?

I think Judith is still alive, I'm just not sure who she's with. Or what caused the girls to leave her. I'm sure Carol will be back, maybe when we least expect her. If they brought back Merle, they have to bring back Carol.

As for the Governor, there couldn't have been any redemption for him. Not after he gunned down the Woodbury Militia like that.

The girls left Judith because they were under the impression they needed to help... I honestly don't think she made it with all the blood in the carrier and the fact the seat belt was still attached :(

As for bringing back Carol, I think she will be back, I'm just wondering in what way.

The governor had gone totally insane by that point. I think he'd realized what he'd done later hence why he didn't defend himself when that walker came after him by the campfire... also the reason why Martinez left him in the night. I don't think anyone is beyond redemption, the person just really has to want it. I think when he'd found that family and began helping them he did want to be a better man, but he just fell back into old habits upon running back into Martinez since his past kind of came back to haunt him.

Well, we still haven't seen what happened with Judith, so...there's still a chance anything happened.

Redemption takes time, though, if we're saying no one is beyond it. I know this a Post-Apocalyptic World, but they'd have to somehow make the Governor pay for his crimes, and not just him wandering around directionless for a little bit.

It made Jason and I sick just thinking about it... of course having a toddler, that kind of scene really hits home and makes you want to clutch your baby tightly at the thought of something so wretched happening to your child.

Redemption does take time, and I agree, Phillip would need to pay for his crimes (*evil grin* Now my wheels start turning LOL! Don't mind me, I'm such a silly girl ;) But yes, it can't be that easy otherwise it's not earned.

Yeah, I don't think Rick, Michonne, and Daryl taking turns spanking the Governor is going to help
